In the fast-moving world of cannabis, it’s difficult to pin down a single “Big Idea” at any one time. But if we were forced to pick one, it might well be the tidal wave of high-CBD edibles we’re sampling.
Unless you’ve spent the last year living in a hole in the ground, you’ve probably caught on to the buzz around CBD. The second most abundant cannabinoid behind THC, CBD is may be responsible for some of the cannabis plant’s medical properties.
At the same time, consumer interest in cannabis-infused edibles is through the roof. There’s a bumper crop of innovative bakers, confectioners and beverage makers who are at this moment dreaming up new ways to infuse delicious edibles with the potency of high-cbd cannabis.
So let’s take a stroll through the virtual aisles and report back on a few of our favorite high-cbd edibles at the moment.
Oh, and a cautionary note: Even if CBD by itself isn’t psychoactive, many of these products also contain THC, which is. It’s important to exercise good judgment and caution around all cannabis products, but especially edibles. Follow dosing guidelines, and remember that edibles take longer than any other cannabis products to take effect, sometimes up to two hours. And if you’re around children, be doubly sure to keep these tempting treats well out of reach!

Atlas 2:1 Lemongrass & Ginger Beverage Mix

$7
A ready-mix, single-serving beverage mix, these handy little packets make for a cooling and refreshing drink when mixed with juice or water. We love the zingy flavors of ginger and lemongrass, the all-natural ingredients (no corn syrup here, thank you very much) and the effective, balanced cannabinoid dose (10mg CBD to 5mg THC).
Kikoko “Sympa-Tea,” 223 mg

$69 / tin with 10 teabags
Described as a “calming tea for anxiety and pain,” these artful tea bags deliver the calming flavors of turmeric and ginger, powered by the natural effectiveness of 20mg CBD and 3mg THC per dose. And for those caretakers of aging parents and grandparents, take note: These teas are a great way to introduce older cannabis newbies to CBD’s effective pain-fighting qualities.
Mr. Moxey’s CBD Peppermint Mints

$32 / 20 mints
We love these potent, flavorful little flavor bombs, formulated with trusted herbal ingredients like echinacea and tart gooseberry and powered by a dose of CBD (each mint contains 5mg CBD and 1mg THC). They’re delicious, portable and discreet, and we find they can’t help but add a subtle lift to our day.
Trokie Lemon-Lime Lozenge Bar

$19 / 10 lozenges
These fast-acting lozenges are geared more towards medical than recreational users, but we find they’re so effective we just had to include them on our list. Besides delivering a healthy dose of 10mg of CBD, each lozenge contains 1.5mg of melatonin, a compound normally created by our own pineal glands to help ensure a long night of restful sleep.
Korova CBD Vanilla Bean Mini Cookies

$7 / two cookies
Come on, you didn’t think we’d let a list of high-cbd edibles go by without at least one cookie, did you? These crunchy, butter little babies are a treat worth waiting for; packing 15mg CBD each, they’re a delicious way to partake in the goodness of CBD.
