Here at Have a Heart in Ocean Shores, we love soaking in the natural splendor of the Washington coast: The crash of ocean waves, the majesty of the tall evergreens that give our state its nickname, and not least the food!
Ocean Shores may be remote, but that doesn’t mean we lack for dining options. As you’d expect, many are seafood-based, but there are plenty of choices for diners of every stripe
As cannabis professionals, we have another interest in sourcing good food: Research tells us that the munchies are real, so we feel we’re only doing our due diligence!
So without further ado, here’s a short list of our favorite restaurants in Ocean Shores and the surrounding area.
Our Favorite Ocean Shores Restaurants
Alec’s By the Sea

131 E Chance a La Mer NE
Ocean Shores, WA 98569
(360) 289-4026
This homey little restaurant is a little bit like your dream diner: Sweet and welcoming, but serving up much more than its diminutive size might suggest. In addition to big, hearty sandwiches—we love the reuben!—you’ll find local seafood like salmon, Pacific cod, and fresh fried oysters. Add a rotating list of favorites like Yankee pot roast and meatloaf and you’ve got one heck of a restaurant inside a pint-sized container.
Los IV Hermanos

824 Point Brown Ave NW
Ocean Shores, WA 98569
(360) 289-0481
Don’t be put off by the (rather loud) floral-print upholstery or serape-styled drapes: This family-style Mexican joint is justly popular for its dependable takes on classics like large, gooey-cheesed enchiladas and piquant fajitas. Carne asada is the specialty here, but there’s a wide-ranging menu (including kids’ section) and plenty of lighter fare like salads and soothing tortilla soup. A full bar with mandatory margaritas is a plus!
Ocean Shores Restaurants: Sea Breeze BBQ Hut

185 W Chance a La Mer NW
Ocean Shores, WA 98569
(360) 289-9900
If you find yourself surprised to find Jamaican food in Ocean Shores, you’re not alone. That said, this fun little hut delivers the goods and then some, serving up savory, flavorful grilled meats and spicy “jerk” dishes like chicken or tender pork. Scan the chalkboard menu for handmade specialties like red bean soup, fried dumplings, curried goat and plantains. All in all it’s a delicious way to add a little edible sunshine when Ocean Shores is socked in with rain.
Ocean Beach Roasters

841 Point Brown Ave NW
Ocean Shores, WA 98569
(360) 289-3100
This classy and beloved bistro brings a housemade touch to old favorites like eggs benedict, biscuits and gravy, and diner omelettes. Pastries and baked goods are made in-house, bringing a special touch to breakfast. Lunches include hearty salads like a seafood-centric Cobb with crab, a standout burger and inventive sandwiches (pork belly Reuben? yes please!). Dinner is only served Thursday through Sunday, but it brings an exotic flair with a localized bouillabaisse, hoisin-glazed burger, and seared wild-caught steelhead salmon.
And don’t forget to stop by your favorite Ocean Shores dispensary beforehand!
