If you’re like us, after enjoying some of the fine recreational marijuana products from downtown Seattle’s best pot shop, Have a Heart Belltown, you get a powerful hankering for some delightful bites to eat. Nothing enhances the enjoyment of some fine food and beverages quite like some dank nuggets beforehand. For your gustatory enjoyment, your friends at Have a Heart Belltown have put together a handy guide of recommended locations to fully enjoy a tour of the senses within walking distance of our downtown Seattle weed shop. If you’d care to stretch your legs even more after a sumptuous repast, we’re only a short walk from South Lake Union.
List—2226 1st Ave, Seattle, WA
A mere block walk from our Have a Heart Belltown pot shop, List is a drool-worthy affair with an all-day happy hour on Sunday and Monday that features their insanely tasty gnocchi with black truffle cream sauce, spicy meatballs and a full menu of delectable small plates that will tickle your taste buds after you’ve enjoyed our tasty buds. They also have a late night happy hour Tuesday through Thursday from 9 to midnight, the perfect complement to a late night stop at Have a Heart Belltown.
Umi Sake House–2230 1st Ave, Seattle, WA
A veritable feast for the senses, Umi Sake House provides a chill atmosphere under moody lighting and a cool decor that allows you to sink into your seat and enjoy the sights and sounds surrounding you. Whether you’re in the market for some sashimi or one their signature rolls such as the Hotter than Hell roll (it is, trust us!) Umi Sake House provides a downtown Seattle wonderland for the eyes and stomach especially when enhanced with one of our fabulous prerolls.
Serious Pie–316 Virginia St, Seattle, WA
Seattle has never been considered a big pizza town but Serious Pie is trying to change that perception. Tom Douglas and his crew have taken the art of the pie to the next level with a selection of pizzas that will make you pause in appreciation of a well-crafted slice. They generally have got a handful of pies that change frequently but the standouts for us are any pie with clams or eggs. What’s that, you say? You would never think of putting an egg or clams on a pie? You clearly have not had enough weed. Sit down, trust in TDog’s pizza vision and enjoy your new favorite pizza joint.
Black Bottle–2600 1st Ave, Seattle, WA
If you’re in the market for people watching while enjoying some top-notch fare, Black Bottle is the spot for you. Between the blasted broccoli, the seven spiced shrimp or one of the half-dozen flatbreads, this northwest tapas restaurant is a small plate stoners delight. They’ve got a happy hour from 4-6 and with the addition of one of the premium Have a Heart Belltown strains you’ll definitely be putting the happy in happy hour.
Lola–2000 4th Ave, Seattle, WA
Alright, we know. This is the 2nd Tom Douglas restaurant on this list but what can we say? TDog knows how to please our stoner urges. While the dinner and lunch options offer a northwest take on Greek and Mediterranean dishes, the brunch is what keeps us coming back. When there are made to order donuts on the menu how can you go wrong? You can’t! Add in a variety of kebabs and Tom’s Favorite Breakfast with all the usual brunch suspects and octopus and you’ll walk away having started the day off right.
