Have a Heart Suggests: Three Great Downtown Seattle Things to Do

By hahoakland

Neon signs cast rainbow lights on rainy sidewalks, gulls and osprey wheel around the iconic white spire of Smith Tower, and the Puget Sound is as flat as shimmering grey glass. Downtown Seattle is arguably one of the most beautiful urban landscapes in the world, and its sensory delights are ideal for enjoying the city’s most recent claim to fame—delicious recreational weed.

“Downtown is, of course, famous for the Space Needle and Pike Place market. But the neighborhood has plenty of additional attractions for the wandering stoner. “

So if you’re in town and looking for a pot shop near you, swing by Have a Heart’s Belltown location and pick up a selection of tasty THC and CBD edibles to help you enjoy the best of downtown Seattle. (Edibles not your thing? We also carry a wide selection of pot topicals, marijuana concentrates, vape supplies, and even cannabis-infused water!)

Downtown is, of course, famous for the Space Needle and Pike Place market. But the neighborhood has plenty of additional attractions for the wandering stoner. To get some historical context for your surroundings, check out the Seattle Underground Tour. Under the guidance of Seattle historian and local character Bill Speidel, you’ll tour the subterranean tunnels that are the remnants of the city as it existed before the great fire of 1889. (If your sampling of delicious Have a Heart pot brownies or THC candies has given you the munchies, you’re in luck. The tour ends at Doc Maynard’s Public House, which offers tasty Northwestern fare.)

If underground isn’t your jam, try the opposite by buying tickets to Seattle’s latest attraction,  Seattle Great Wheel at Pier 57. This massive Ferris wheel affords a panoramic view of the city and the islands of the Puget Sound, and should not be missed. Speaking of islands, the Bainbridge Island Ferry is Seattle’s best-kept tourist secret. For just $8 you get a round trip ticket for a trip to the islands—and 30 minutes each way to enjoy the gorgeous island coastlines, the stunning Seattle skyline, and the potential chance to see marine life up close—from bobbing sea otters to pods of orcas.

From otters to friendly budtenders, Seattle’s denizens wish you a happy visit!

Visiting other parts of Seattle? No problem, we have multiple Washington locations to help ensure you get your cannabis fix.
