Most stoners are fans of the three C’s: cannabis, candy, and creativity. Which of course also makes us huge fans of the year’s most creative holiday. Here at Have a Heart, we’re looking forward to the Halloween season and getting into costume planning mode. Which of course means invoking the creativity-enhancing powers of cannabis, so we’ll be having a Halloween sale at all our locations on October 30th! There will be scary great deals on everything from flower, to concentrates, to edibles!
To help everyone get into the spooky, we’re teamed up with our friends over at Emerald City Pet Rescue to organize a costume concept for pets, and it’s sure to be a great time. So if you want to check out the coolest costumes for our four-legged friends, you won’t want to miss this.
Join us Thursday 10/26/17 from 4-7pm at Have A Heart Belltown and get 30% off your purchase when you bring your pet in costume. Contest winners will have a donation made to Emerald City Pet rescue in your pet’s honor.
If for some reason you can’t make that event, we’ve put together a list of some other events happening around our fare city. Here’s a few more on our radar:
Get the holiday started right with the funk of forty thousand years! Join thousands in Pioneer Square for a synchronized dance to Michael Jackson’s Thriller. Though not technically a flash mob because the media is notified in advance, Thrill the World still offers plenty in the way of booty-shaking spectacle. Free, but donations are encouraged. All money goes to Jubilee Women’s Center. All ages welcome.
(If you’d like to learn the dance in a class setting, you can join the rehearsals at the Seattle Gym. 1530 Queen Anne Ave N, Seattle, WA 98109. Times will be listed at the gym’s website.)
South Sound Beer Festival (October 28)
This requires a jaunt to Tacoma, but the festival’s Tacoma Dome location is easily accessible by light rail, and well worth the ride. This year’s extravaganza will feature 35 Washington breweries pouring over 150 Halloween-themed craft beers. Revelers are encouraged to wear costumes. Festivities begin at noon. $20 advance tickets. $25 at the door. 21 and older.
Animal lovers unite! SODO’s black cat bash features DJs, a dance contest, a costume contest, and good cheer aplenty. Proceeds go to the Seattle Humane Society. The party starts at 9 PM. Located at Studio Seven, 110 S. Horton Street, Seattle. Tickets are $30. 21 and older.
Obviously, all these events will be more fun with the proper supplies. So swing by your favorite Belltown pot shop, or any of the fine Have a Heart locations and stock up on premium recreational cannabis. We have it all–from vape supplies to THC topicals to the tastiest pot candy. Happy Halloween!
