At Have a Heart Skyway, we spend a lot of time thinking about all the ways weed enhances creativity. And one of our favorite ways to use it for inspiration is in the kitchen. We love to smoke fresh Pacific Northwest cannabis, and then hit the farmers market to look for local ingredients to cook with. Last week, we found asparagus and garlic tops – cooked them on the grill, then drizzled them with some melted cannaghee, grated Parmesan and a squeeze of lemon. Delicious!
If you’re looking for ways to support the local farms and makers this summer, do your shopping at the Columbia City Farmers Market. Each Wednesday, thru October 11th, from 3 to 7 p.m. you’ll find an amazing selection of locally grown, raised, and made goods.
Plus, you’ll be helping the local economy when you put your hard-earned cash right into the hands of the folks who bring their efforts to market. The farmers market is in the same neighborhood as Have a Heart Skyway – so you can shop at your local pot shop for the best strains of marijuana and fresh greens in one trip!
