Have a Heart’s Greenwood location is firmly situated in the middle of the Ballard/Greenwood/Whittier Heights neighborhood which means it’s a melting pot of cultures and cuisines and what better way to enjoy this melting pot than by melting some of our finest pot to enhance the enjoyment of your bites. We asked our budtenders at North Seattle’s favorite neighborhood pot shop where they would eat after enjoying some of our finest flower and preroll and here’s what they said.

Chuck’s Hop Shop – 656 NW 85th St, Seattle, WA 98117
Alright, we know what you’re saying–it’s a beer shop! It’s not just a beer shop but the best beer shop in the city and when you’re of such a high caliber you’ve got the pick of food trucks to supply grub to the thirsty masses. Our personal favorite food truck is Wood Shop BBQ and their best brisket in the city. We haven’t had barbecue this good since the last time we were in Texas. Wood Shop is usually parked out front on Tuesday’s but be sure to check their food truck schedule and plan a visit. Grab a Bubba Kush Preroll from Willie’s Reserve to complete the Texas dream and wash it down with a Shiner Bock and you can almost imagine you’re in Austin.
The Yard Cafe – 8313 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103
There’s never a wrong time for tacos and the Yard has some of the best in the neighborhood. Whenever we’ve had a puff of the Nectar Craft L.A. Confidential Vape Pen from Circanna, we suddenly find ourselves moving our shoes down the sidewalk to the Yard. The adobada taco is a perfect portion of spicy pork goodness that melts in your mouth and paired with some of the killer guacamole the kitchen puts out there’s no better way to spend your afternoon than kicking it at the Yard’s outdoor patio.

Gainsbourg– 8550 Greenwood Ave N, Seattle, WA 98103
Named after Serge Gainsbourg, the legendary French singer, Greenwood’s Gainsbourg serves up French classics as well as northwestern fare in an intimate setting that brings to mind the sort of bistros you’d find wandering the streets of Paris. Their happy hour features a burger that will make you say “Merci beaucoup” or if you’re feeling like you really want to get into the French spirit enjoy some of their escargot or chase the green fairy in more ways than one with some absinthe while enjoying a hit of the Enchantmint Breathspray from Northwest Wonderland.
